Walls

We put up some walls today. Woo hoo! These are totally rough, so if anything looks crooked...it probably is. That will all be fixed soon enough. Oh! I forgot to take pictures of my cabinets. They are too cool. We went and ripped them out of an old 50's kitchen. They are white metal. How cool is that. I'll get some pics of them before I get them painted.

WE GOT PERMITS!
On Friday, just 8 short(!?) weeks since we filed, we finally recieved our permits. This coming week we should have the walls up and should get to the plumbing/electrical/everything else after Thanksgiving. Jim and Chris (and I) put up the support beams over my bedroom/bathroom area. Check out the pic below.

Window Pics

Well, not that its overly exciting, but here are some pictures of the windows. They look really good in real life. Write me or call me if you want to come an look at the progress in real life.

Windows!

I have windows! Up til now, we just had big holes where windows should go... These things look great! It's sooo bright in my place now. Working in there should be warmer now too. Hopefully this is the start to a good week of progress.

Progress Report

Well...looks like we will be getting some permits this week (ya right, I've heard that before). The footers are being poored for the support beams over my bedroom today. I'll but some pictures up of this as soon as we get the posts and beams up. I think we should be able to start putting some walls up by the end of the week! Word is we will have windows early next week. Windows rock! (but don't go well together)
